Selected work Case study
LD Screw
A website for a stainless steel screw maker, laid out like the catalogue its buyers already read.
01 · Overview
The project
LD Screw makes stainless steel screws and fasteners for construction, furniture and industry. The website had two jobs: show the full range clearly enough to order from, and put the plant, the standards and the guarantees in plain view, so a new dealer trusts what arrives in the box.
- Objective
- A clean, credible website that puts the product range first and turns visitors into dealer enquiries.
- Direction
- Monochrome and precise. Line drawings of screw profiles, steel photography, and type with the tidiness of a spec sheet.
- Scope
- Home page design: hero, product catalogue by family, showroom news, quality and capacity, blog, dealer sign-up and footer.
02 · The approach
Built like a spec sheet.
Fastener buyers scan for a type, a head and a finish. So the catalogue reads like a reference table: each family opens with its lead product and a photograph, then lists every variant with its material tag, SS for stainless or MS for mild steel. Outlined screw drawings and drive icons do the decorating, so nothing competes with the product.
03 · Design system
Steel, paper, ink.
The palette is the material itself: near-black, paper white and three steel greys, with the photography bringing the only warmth. Type is Plus Jakarta Sans throughout. The proof a buyer looks for (certifications, guarantee, dispatch time, plant capacity) sits on a dark band of its own, so it reads as a statement rather than small print.

04 · The page
One page, top to bottom.
Hero, catalogue, news from the showroom, quality, blog and a dealer sign-up, closing on a footer that keeps the contact details one glance away.
05 · Final outcome
The site, together
Every screw in its place, and the plant behind it in plain view.
